Shelley is a true-blue Huntly local having lived in the area all her life. She has a very supportive husband and two children, Jordan and Toby, not to forget their Boxer, American Bulldog, cat, 12 chickens, 9 sheep and 3 horses!
She has previously worked in administrative roles at Stace Hammond Grace (Solicitors, Hamilton), Kosoof & Co (Chartered Accountants, Huntly) and Solid Energy New Zealand Ltd (Opencast Mine, Rotowaro) tallying up 19 years administration experience and knowledge. Wanting to veer her career towards a more people orientated focus, she decided to head down the real estate path to showcase what our awesome district offers.
She has been selling residential and lifestyle properties since 2013 and appreciates that buying or selling property can be one of the most stressful events in a person's lifetime. Shelley gained Top Sales Consultant within the Huntly, Ngaruawahia, Te Kauwhata and Te Aroha Harcourts offices for the financial year ending 2017 AND 2018!
With Shelley’s commitment, amiable personality, energy and honesty to name a few, she will give 110% effort aiming for the process to be as stress free as possible with a great result.
“Great service comes from the heart”
"As first home buyers we've experienced all sorts of interesting stuff from agents- everything from deliberate misinformation and pressure around our budget to casual sexism and disdain- not to mention the blowhard spin around how inaccessible the property market is for 'buyers like us'.
Then we met Shelley! She treated us seriously and with respect right from the outset- she treated us like people- like equals (which made a refreshing change from some other agents we've come across)!
She was flexible around our busy schedules- arranging a viewing the afternoon of an Open home because we couldn't make the time, happy to do our pre-settlement inspection on a Sunday even though she had family visiting (and bring us a 'sold' sign so we could have a picture in front of our house!) She answered all of our questions openly- at the viewing she wasn't 100% sure on a couple of points so rang the vendor on the spot to find out- she took time to find out what we were into and gave information about clubs and things in the area, and she kept her communication up right throughout the process. Shelley turned something that, up until that point had been a frustrating demoralising and stressful exercise into something I really enjoyed. We very much appreciate all of her work and can't wait to get involved in our new community.
We will definitely be recommending Shelley and your office to friends who are house hunting."
